Thumbs up post pictures of your workshop.

I have been in the process of building a place to house my "toys" for 8 years now. I built a 24 x 30 foot shop in nebraska then moved to utah, after five years I built a 40 x 42 foot steel building. did all the work myself on these 2 (with a lot of help from my friends of course) then right after I finished that building I had to move again. I hope that this is the last time I ever move but anyway I have been working on my new shop this time since I injured myself slightly on the last one my wife convinced me to have the shop assembled by a pro. It went up so fast that I am very glad I had them do it. now I have just been working on finishing the inside.

here is a picture of my shop. I call it the bionic dawghause. it is 60 by 40 inside I have a 44x40 main shop then I have a 16x20 foot separate woodworking shop that I can close off and keep the sawdust off my cars. I will have a small bathroom area and a 10x 16 ft area just for my dogs. I have a 10 x 10 foot wood deck off the back of the shop, inside there is a small fridge and microwave. I have a pretty good collection of hand tools, 2 air compressors one 60 and one 80 gallon with a selection of 3/8, 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch sockets drills, 2 cherry pickers and since my dad retired and moved out to iowa he has added all of his tools to the shop so I am feeling pretty good about things now.
Webshots Grand Opening Special: For a limited time, get 50 free prints at our new store!
it is still in the construction phase but it is coming along. the outside is done but the inside is still being worked on. as you can see the term dawghause has two meanings. it is a house for my dogs and a place I can go when I am in trouble with the wife. it is bionic because I keep building it better than it was before.

I have seen other forums like these where people put pictures of there shops up so others can get new ideas. I am anxious to see some other peoples shops to get ideas for mine.

nice shop man, I have 2 40x30 buildings stick built and full bricked to match home. Phase 1 is insulated with central heat and AC. Both have 12' celings with engineered trusses so I have no support poles to deal with. One has 8' garage doors and the other has 10' doors so my trailers etc. can get in as needed.

awesome looking shop dodgestang and I love the projects you have inside as well. I decided to post some inside pics too.
here is a picture of the woodshop. at the end I intend to build a small bathroom, it is already plumbed for the sewer just need to build the walls and roof this section so I only have to heat the small shop in the winter.

hey dodgestang I saw an old post of yours and it linked to your website so I looked over your garage pics. I am very envious of your asphalt drive. I just hauled in some white rock and it makes it so I can get to my shop after it rains but I would love to have it hard surfaced. great job.

I HAVE A 30 X 30 GARAGE, MY 67 COUPE IN THERE STRIPPED AND LOTS OF SHELVES FOR ALL THE PARTS. THE ONLY TIP I CAN GIVE IS DON'T BUY A 26 GALLON COMPRESSOR. NOW WHAT I HAVE IS A REDNECKS 220 COMPRESSOR, 2 110 COMPRESSORS. BORROWED A 30 GALLON FROM A FRIEND AND CONNECTED WITH MINE

Good Idea,

I had my kids in the garage today but didn't have any juice left in the camera to get a shot.

We are in the middle of a diff head thing.

My garage is so small that my wifes rice burner has to sit outside while the rattlebox gets life support.

Maybe one day soon I can have a great workshop.

For now, I am using a basic 1 car with little room for anything else but the pony
