OK I have been workin on my 65 coupe for a long time now and Its starting to get close paint time. I just cant seem to pick a color!. I have really had my mind set on like mccance's blue or well its the mustang plus's blue convertble. I want something that is going to look really good but No yellow or white. Need some help pretty bad on this one. I know everyone will say this and this or that but I would really like to hear yalls opinion. Thanks,

I like black as well. Every time I see a mustang I really like its usually black. I really don't care for the 2 stripes though. Here is a black 68 coupe with the eleanor kit that I liked. Its been on ebay several times and I saved a few pics of it.

Im in the same position as you bba. For the longest time Ive wanted the eleanor paint color but now it seems like everybody and there momma has it . I really want a black with some flat black stripes like this...

This cobra is sweet! I just hope my body is straight enough for it. I know everything shows up with black.

Well, I know I'm being prejudice because it's the color of my 65, but I love my Ivy green convert. It's the real dark deep green with silver metal flake in it. We redid it in hand rubbed lacquer and it came out elegant but "tough" at the same time. And you don't see to many of them around in that color. If you want to add white GT stripes it looks even better.

Another vote for Ivy Green, especially with the aforementioned white GT stripes. It's a color that pictures really don't do justice to; you just have to see one in person.

Also, I am a huge fan of my Nightmist Blue '66 GT. I've owned several other vintage Mustangs, including red ones, blue ones, burgundy ones, etc. None of them has attracted the attention that the Nightmist Blue car does.
