Default where can one find info on 65 and 66 Mustangs

With Marti Reports starting in 67 is there anywhere to get info about these cars? One reason I ask,a friend just bought a 65 Fast Back from a guy that bought it new (one owner) blue/blue 4 speed 289 every things there but needs redone. And my 65 289 coupe is Vintage Burgundy and Gold interior, everyone I talk to says they have never seen that color combo.

Well the problem is ford lost the numbers on the 64-66 mustangs that is why.You can decode the door tag tho. Some one on here might know a book to look at tho.

Buy a shop manual. There's everything in there to decode your tag and Ford didn't lose the information they destroyed it.
