i need some help. my first car was a 72 mustang. i was a stupid kid and sold when i was 18 bought the car when i was 15 working at a pizza place for $3 an hour. but i want to find this car and dont really care what condition it is in. any info anyone can give me to start tracking it down will be greatly appreciated.
Good luck man, thats all I can say. Sometimes the cars have a way of finding their orginial owners, sometimes not.

Have you tried calling out its name? Perhaps if you had an old article of clothing or something out of the car a bloodhound might be the ticket. Oh, I know, you can staple missing car fliers to street corner telephone poles. Just some ideas, hope they help.

Can you get in touch with who ever you sold it to? Might try tracing it sell by sell, its a long shot but its worth a try.

$3 an hour - that must have been back in the late 70's.
Do you still have the same license plate (tag) you had on that car on your current car? You may be able to find the '72's VIN from old registrations through the DMV.
Otherwise you'll have to trace it through who you sold it to, which could be possible, but not likely.
The chances of you find the car your more likely to get hit with lightning. The dmv on keeps records so far back.See if you can find any old paper work like a title or insurance might have the vin on that.If you still use the same insurance company see if they can look it up.
