Exclamation 1972 Mustang Mach 1

This is probably the 15th time I've mentioned this car on the Internet. Back in 1975 my father bought a used 1972 Mustang Mach 1 with the Q Code 351 Cobra Jet. After his divorce, he put the car away in the early 80's. Gave the engine to his freind to be rebuilt with forged internals. When I was 12 I first learned of this vehicle, that was 2002. A year later I learned my Dad had a set of 351 C heads he had kept since he had the car. When I got around to ID'ing the stamped number on them I came up with having 69-71 4V Closed Chambered Heads, which for those of you who don't know are the heads that were on the Boss 351. This car got me started into cars. I've been bitching for 6 long years for my dad to drag the damn thing out of storage get the engine back and restore the damn thing. What do you guys think of that?

Why don't you guys do it together? Give him some inspiration by putting some issues of Mustang Monthly or Muscle Mustangs and Fords in his bathroom or where ever he puts his reading material.

Hell, I'm almost 60 and love working on my 67 Fastback as well as stomping on the gas every chance that I get.

Didn't boss 351 heads have adjustable rockers? I have a set of closed chambered heads for a 71 model that didn't have adjustable rockers.

Get it out, and fix it up. You need to get that thing on the road again.

I thought so. I have a set of closed chamber. I was told they were Boss heads. When I took them to the machine shop, I was told different. the 351 boss heads were on the 71 Boss Mustang and had adjustable rockers. So they would be ID for only 71. Not 69 to 71, correct?

Was it the yellow 71 mustang?
I think I read it somewhere on the internet about it.
