Default Need help with the front seats

Hey all, I am trying to remove the front seats of my 1967 mustang coupe, but I can't seem to figure it out. I found the bolts on the seat tracks, but I can't seem to find a socket that fits around the bolt and inside the track. I tried climbing under the car to see if there was a bottom to the bolts, but no success. Anybody have any suggestions or adivce on how to remove them?

Under the car you will see 4 plastic/rubber body plugs. remove these and you will have access to the nuts that hold the seat, track and all, to the floorpan.

You'll need a deep socket to get to the nuts. Make sure you hold on to the socket, you don't want to lose it in the hollow space between the floor pan

Sliding an empty toilet paper or paper towel roll in there eliminates that.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

spray spray spray the bolts with a good penetrating oil or you will be replacing at least one or two of the bolts or like in my case all but 1 so i did them all
