Red face 1973 mach 1 with FMX how to

My 1973 Mustang has an FMX trans in it. On the passenger side of the trans there are three fittings. Two are the in and out for the cooler lines to the radiator. the third is a tubing line that comes out near the front of the trans body and runs rearward about 12-14 inches then ends. Should something be connected to this line, or is it just some kind of vent line?

If your having shifting issues then I would have to say its the vac line to the modulator.

No shifting problems. has not been installed since last year. been doing engine work. ran fine back then , but I forgot just how things were hooked up. Also, vac. to modulator seems to be on driver side and will hook up correctly. Thanks for any help.
