Question Diamond Blue '67

My first car was a used 1967 Diamond Blue Mustang coupe with the code 2A black interior. Mine had the C code engine (289cid 2V V8), cruise-o-matic trans., power steering, exterior decor group, and black vinyl-covered roof. Any numbers data on any of those options?

well Black09, I would say that there were 2500 since that is exactly the options/colors on my car but yours being a coupe. I'm sure Jay will have the numbers on those too. Still 2500 today are very few. I almost bought one in Okla last year.

In 1967 there were only 564 Diamond Blue coupes with the standard 2A black interior.

Separate options listed for 67 coupes ONLY,

vinyl roof........69,395
power steering.....151,275
exterior decor group......34,671
289/C4 combo.......161,416

That's as far as I can break it down, still 564 is a very low number. Granted not every one of those 564 cars had a vinyl roof or exterior decor option for instance so that 564 number would be even lower, probably 200 or less.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Thumbs up

Thank you Jay

That was a gorgeous car back in the day! Unfortunately, being a college student back then, I didn't have the $$ to keep repairing the problems I kept having with the front end. So... I sold it to a man I knew. He bought it for his son, who obviously didn't treat it with the TLC that I had given it. The last time I ever saw it, it was all covered with dirt and had a couple of big dents in it...
