I've traced ownership of my 66 K Code back to a man who bought it in late 1966. He told me he purchased it from a Marvin Jones in Winter Park Florida who bought it straight from Dearborn as part of a drag racing program partially sponsored by Ford. He said he bought it from Jones after Jones raced it for 5 months. Anyone know if that sort of racing program was ever sponsored by Ford? Any way to trace a Marvin Jones who raced at drag strips in Florida from 1965-1967?

Southeastern International Dragway - Dallas, Georgia check this website out there is mention of a marvin "red" jones drag racing in georgia in the mid to late fifties maybe the same guy? good luck hope that helps
