Default My new 68 Coupe - New Color?

I recently got this 68 Coupe with a 302 (yes it says 289 on the side but it was rebuilt as a 302) for 4K. It runs great hardly any rust and the interior is in pretty good shape. There are no patch welds, this used to be a show car but the owner's husband died and she drove it as it was her only car. The wife recently passed away and this was willed to my wife's sister...so I got a nice deal. It drives straight as an arrow and start without any issues. From reading the door plate it was originally lime gold but was repainted black obviously. The paint needs to be redone and I'm trying to decide what color. Yellow? Black? a lighter blue?

I like the black. Yellow would be a little flashy for my taste.

Smile My 2 cents on the color

Personally, I am torn between the black you have ( car looks sweet) and a deep red....I have the same pony ('68 coupe) and mine is red...it was originally a robin egg blue but had been painted before we got her. The red just pops the car when going down the road.... Gotta go with what your heart tells you though...

Yeah I was really lucky to run into this deal. It was also bought for me as a Christmas present so all I have in the car is $20 for a speedo cable at the moment. I think first is paint, then new side mirrors (they are really loose), and then a dash mat.
