Default Looking to rebuild first mustang, need some help

I'm wanting to rebuild an older mustang. I have and 5.0 for it already but i need a body. I'm looking for a 1967 fastback with a manual transmission and was just wondering if there are any problems I should be aware of when looking for one. I could also use some help locating one. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time,
B-Rice

Tall order there.

Your main issue will be rust.

Places to check are the floors inside and out, torque boxes, cowling (run water in the cowling and see if it drips into the interior), rear quarters around the wheel wells, frame rails, battery tray and doors.

The other thing I watch for is parts. You can replace most parts, but it's time consuming and expensive. Look for good glass, interior trim, especially on a fastback, and the rear fold down seat.

If you have the fundage, I would look into a dynacorn body also.

Try O'reily autoparts. They've had no problem getting any part I've ever asked them for.
