Default 1969 mustang headers on a 1980s block, worth it or replace the block?

HI everyone
I have a 1969 mustang coupe with a 302 v8 engine. It had a very bad vibration after replacing the harmonic balance and fly wheel with 1969 parts. I thought it was original! After rebuild I find out the main block is a later 1980's ford block. The headers are 1969 headers. It was rebuilt and placed back together new lifters, pistons, bored all new guts. Modifications where made to balance it all out. It has a new sports cam shaft. Replaced the old 2 barrel carburetor for a four barrel carburetor and now engine is high performance engine.

Is this kind of engine common? Or is it worth changing out the block to an old 1969 block? Don’t know what kind of block it is now "# EoAE-C" could be off anything I guess or maybe generic. Please help

Not worth the effort to change it, IMO. If it runs good now, leave it alone.

Thanks for quick response. I wanted to go with full restoration but I will leave it alone. I hope it runs like a champ! I wish I knew how to decode the casting number so I know where the block came from? it is stamped on the side with "EoAE-C" could be a "0" instead of an "o" is this common with rebuilds to have both 1969 parts and 1980 parts working together? They haven’t installed it yet into my car, just finished with full rebuild. Will find out soon
thanks

It's common to mix and match years. That's not a problem, though. The Windsor blocks didn't change much over the years - except for the deck height.
