Default Nasa repo Hood vs Original Nasa Hood

Hey guys,

I have a chance to buy a used hood but it's more expensive than a new one(plus the new one does not have to be prep/sanded.
My ? 2 u is "which one would you buy and why. Is there a particular site better than others? I have heard some say that repo's fit the car better. Others say stick with the used original hood because new hoos have to be babied to fit.
Feel free to elaborate.

I have no clue never compared the two.But when it comes to remade sheet metal ford tooling is the best.

I wouldn't guarantee that the new one doesn't need to be prepped and sanded. Most repro sheetmetal needs tweaked to make them fit right. Originals almost always fit better.
