Default A couple of these threads have me wondering

Does anybody know anything about the "Sprint Package"? My 68 has this and I haven't been able to get too much info about it. I know that is was a thing Ford did to boost sales by basically adding a few GT options to a non-GT stang. I have Factory Fog Lamps, an adjustable sideview mirror (from inside), a pop-down gas cap, I think the 2-tone interior is part of it, a reverse c-stripe and I think also wheel well trim. Can anybody elaborate? Does this add to the value of the car being that it is sort of rare? My understanding is that in 67-68 there were 2 "Sprint Packages" offered...an A or a B. I also know that there were a limited number produced...Any info would be great!

Hey, check out the website I have attached. It has information on all the special packages that were available. The first real "Sprint" package was actually the year my car is. I have a 1966 Sprint 200. The 66 Sprint package was also called the millionth mustang sale. Again there was the Sprint package "A" and "B". If I remember correctly, Package "A" was the manual transmission, and Package "B" was the automatic transmission. I hope this helps. If not, you can do a google search for "1968 Mustang Sprint" and you should get some results.

According to that link, I have the Sprint Package "B" and it says just over 15000 made, do you know if there is something in the VIN or door tag or if a MARTI report will say that it it that: A Sprint Package "B" Mustang?

I don't know. Marti can't do a report for 1966. But they will be able to confirm if yours was ordered with the Sprint package. Someone was selling a 67 or 68 Sprint on ebay and they showed their Marti report for it, and it confirmed that it was a Sprint.

Good Deal, Yeah I called Marti and spoke to a rep who confirmed that it would be reflected as an option on the repoert. That being said, I need to figure out which report to buy...Cheap or expensive...

Go with expensive. It is like all things. You can get cheap but that usually means you are buying crap or very little, or you could go expensive and get the good quality with all the bells & whistles.

I have posted this same question before. The only things I can figure out on mine was the lower rocker molding, the flip cap, the c-stripe and nothing else.
Anyone have this information in detail? The guy I spoke with at Marti, when I bought my report had nothing to offer on this package. Just confirmed it had the package.

I am with you RPMCARTER, I am sure I have it, but I can not get definitive answere as to what exactly the package entailed. I do know there are 2 Sprint Packages, A and B. I think mine is a B package...I have factory Fog lamps, the C-stripe, the rocker panel moulding, the Flip gas cap...I have been told that 2-tone interior is part of it, my driver side view mirror is adjustable from inside, been told that was part of it too, but not for sure.
