Default 1965 Mustang Deluxe interior question

Hello, I just purchased a 1965 Mustang convertible with a deluxe interior that has an old 1980s restoration. The data plate code indicates that it was built with the deluxe interior, 76B, but it does not have the 5 dial instrument panel. It was one of the first pony interior cars produced because the date code is February 14, 1965. I read that the camera finish glove box and instrument panel were available in the deluxe interior before 3/8/65, which mine has, but everywhere I read says all pony interiors have the 5 dial cluster and wood grain finish. I am wondering if, in addition to having the black camera finish, it is possible that this very early pony interior had the standard 1965 instrument panel, or is this definitely a modification? Any expert information would be helpful and appreciated! Thanks!!!

This would be a good one for Veronica. She's the resident wiz at the early cars. I would suppose it could be possible for that to happen as my 65 had the vinyl glued to the inner rockers instead of carpeting.

Hello. Thank you. Rodbender. As always, you are too kind. Actually, that 'vinyl glue to the rockers' thing was what they did on the coupes and fastbacks until like early september on Dearborn cars, and some San Jose cars had that foolishness as late as december of 64.

And, I think that we have the discrepencies all sorted out on hka9394's car.
