Hello too all in the know. I was wondering if anybody knows or knew why ford rated the 1972 CJ cleveland so low on horse??? I understand the ratings went from gross to net but this seems to be a low rating for this motor??? Is it that by 72 they had this mill congested to the point of a measly 266 rating ??? What would this be rated in 1968 ??? Heads are huge for small blocks. I have a 1972 4-bolt standard bore with add ons like torquer intake, 750 vac. sec. carb w/1" spacer. hooker comp. headers and a healthy by small cam with .554 lift. Intake side of stock open chamber heads have been ported as well as intake manifold. Does anybody with the magical calculator have any assumption of what power this combo will kick ??? billy d
