Well I just went through my 65 shop manual and there is no check valves or residual valves in the system. Step 2 check to make sure you have installed your hardware correctly. Is the e-brake on? Are the cables freed up for the e-brake? Are your adjusters free to move? Set up should be for a slight drag when rotating by hand. If all this is good then I would take your line loose from the junction block ( below the m/c) and the wheel cylinders and see if you can blow air through in all directions. It sounds like you might have an obsruction in the line.Hope this helps.

Default 1965 STOCK DRUM brake problem

Thanks guys, the emergency brakes are NOT hooked up, the adjusters are free, I haven't unhooked the junction box below the master cylinder yet, will try that. ANY other suggestions feel free, I don't have the $$ to take it to a brake shop, I'm sure it is something simple.
It appears by the photos everything is hooked up right also I have a WORKING 1965 I am going by

I have seen this problem before and it was the Master cylinder. It could be the wrong one(like the one from a Disc Brake car), or it could be defective. Are you 100% positive that you got the exact same master?
