Default 1967 fastback ? price to sell for

well as much as i hate to do it i am going to sell my fastback but could use some insight on a asking price. the one i am selling is pretty well restored new 1/4s, fenders, thunderbolt hood, floors, springs, front seats, carpet, grille, weatherstriping most, taillight bezels, gas cap, all fender aprons, rad support, chrome export brace and monte carlo bar and so many other parts i cant even remember. the car was stripped to metal and epoxy primed and then painted base coat clear coat. i have brand new torque thrust wheels and bfg radial t/as on it. it is a 4 speed and this one i have a freshened 289 to go in it but needs dropped in. i know i have over 14,000 invested in this car between purchase of the car and parts plus the paint job not counting my time and labor involved in getting it this far. i am pretty sure i may end up taking a lose on it but am in need of selling, i know i shouldnt and will regret it but i do have another fastback alreaady finished. with a few more dollars the car would be very nice it should have a new tail light wiring harness and a few other minor cosmetics but overall it is gorgeous.i ll ttry to post a pic. any ideas on a value would be appreciated

Hello. It would be virtually impossible to even ballpark it without a lot of detailed pictures and some information on the car. A Marti report would help a lot. As goofy as the market is lately, it's hard to say even with all of that. However, I have trouble thinking that, if the car is solid, basically rust free, not all hacked up or restomoded, runs and drives like it should, brakes are good, no electrical weirdness going on, interior is ok, that it would bring less than about 20K if it's originally a 6cyl car, a little more than that if it's a 'C' or 'A' code car, still more if it's an 'S' code and quite a bit more for a 'K' code. They only built a couple hundred 67 K code fastbacks.

Good looking car. Why are you selling it? You have any idea what you would LIKE to get for it? Based on what I see from the pictures and your description of the car, I would say you shouldnt have a problem getting around 15k for it.

i was hoping to get 13-14,000 out of it. i'd be willing to negotiate a little bit but i dont want to take a huge lose on the car. i need to purchase a truck mine is on its last leg and my f-350 costs to much to feed its a 460 ci. so if anyone is interested i have it posted in the classified on this site. if no interest i will be listing it on ebay on thursday

Hi again. There are a couple of very minor things that you could do that will really help that car out a bunch on ebay. You would want to do something with that speaker wire that's hanging down by the squirter pedal, for one thing. That sort of implies electrical issues that the car probably doesn't have. You would also want to do something with that huge, hideous hole where the console door used to be. That's kind of bringing down the whole interior. And, it would really help that car out if you got a can of Krylon 1613 semi-gloss black and shot a coat on all of that blue stuff on the dash and steering column so that it matches the rest of the interior. If you did that, it would really surprise me if that car didn't bring something closer to 18 or 19K. That looks like a pretty nice car that you've got there. Good luck.
