I just bought a 65 Mustang with no engine or transmission. I'm going to be dropping a 2001 Explorer 5.0 into my 65 Mustang. The engine is currently in my 86 Mustang but I'm going to pull the engine from the '86 and swap it over to my '65. I'm going to run a C4 transmission out of a 1968 v8 Mustang.
I'm going to need to get a 50 ounce 157 tooth flex plate for my 5.0. On Dallas Mustang and Summitt these flex plates sell for over $100 easy. I found one on ebay that's $39 plus $15 for shipping. It says SFI approved, which is good. Is this a piece of junk flex plate? I don't understand why it's so cheap compared to other sites that I've seen these sell on.
