Default 1967 mustang coupe pre sale questions

Hello, I am new to the forum. I have never owned a mustang but have always wanted one. I have always liked the late 1960's model. I am currently looking at a 1967 coupe hard top with an inline 6 cylinder. It has no power anything, no a/c, No rust, all original. The interior not in very good shape. Body straight never been wrecked. It has 150,000 mile and runs nicely. All windows and doors work. What questions should I ask prior to buying and what would be a fair price? I hope I have posted correctly and looking forward to any information that might be helpful. Thanks!

After researching further, I think I will opt out of this car. I would really like a v-8 car and it looks like it is very expensive to convert the inline six to a v-8. After seeing more pics of the car it appears to be in good shape on the exterior, the interior needs lots of tlc as noted in the add. Would be a nice car for someone looking for a inline 6.

I am going to try to attach some photos, the asking price is $3500. What are some of your opinions on the price and thoughts of converting to a v-8?

I think that is a good price for it. It looks like it is in great shape, and it even has the rather rare tow bar so you can hook up a trailer. It's interior does need cleaned up, but there are interior kits you can buy to fix that problem.

I agree that that's a good price for that car. Interior work is MUCH cheaper than trying to fix rust. In essence, if it was between buying this car that needed interior work, and buying a V8 car that needed lots of body work, I'd definitely advise you to stick with the 6-cylinder car.

I think that pony still has alot to give. She needs some TLC, thats for sure, but I think it could be restored easily. However if its not what you want (V8 vs V6) then I wouldn't settle. I would also try to talk them down on the price a few hundred....
