You have the 289 and 66 correct.
The E is the plant that manufactured the engine, in this case it was Ensite, Ontario Canada.
The F is the date code, that engine was made in June.
The 236 T is an internal plant code for a C code 289 with a C4 automatic.
The 12 is another internal plant code for the change level of that motor.
