Default Where can I find a right side windshield A pillar for 70 Mach

Doing a full restore of my 70 Mach. Has damage to right A pillar. I know it will be a hard to find item. Any suggestions on where to search? It's a 1970 Mach 1. Need only the right A pillar.

They are on Ebay from time to time. Remember you can always dye them so if your interior isn't the most common black you can always get whatever color you find and change it.

Default Thanks for reply

Thanks for the reply. What I'm actually looking for is the metal, structural piece that goes from the roof line down to the rocker panel. It is dented in just enough to need replacement as part of the body work. Thanks anyway.
Sincerely

Check with seller - fastbackstack - on eBay. Ask for Rhonda. They have over 1,100 transactions with 100% feedback. I got a few things from them with no issues. They strip stangs to the bone, and I bet they have a stipped stang with your pillar. It won't be listed in their store, your will need to contact them.
If your not a eBay member or can't find them for some reason, let me know and I will get you more info.
Tom.

Sorry about that, the way I read it you were looking for the A pillar plastic trim on the inside.

Keep in mind that a 69 Sportsroof will work for a donor too as they are the same body as a 70, just in case you can't find a 70 Sportsroof donor.

I've heard good things about Fastbackstack, never dealt with them though. They are a Myspace friend of mine too.

Thanks a lot. I'll be checking on fastbackstack tonight.

I really appreciate the info. I was wondering if the 69 sportroof would fit. This adds another possibility to the search.

The salvage yards are being very helpful but no luck yet. Did find two 68's that would have been good donor cars but won't fit the 70 Mach that I needed. House of Hot Rods in Mansfield TX is doing the restore and found out today they did find an A pillar but the seller is asking more than I hoped to pay, +$1,000!! So, still looking.
