Default The 289 is a small block and ....

the motor mounts are different than that of a big block car. The frame mounts are different also. You are attempting to install a 427 into what car ?

You'll need the fe motor mounts frame mounts too big block front springs a 9 inch rear end to handle the power.A tranny a toploader or c6 crossmember to match the tranny.Bigger radiator if the cars got front drums disc are a must to stop it with the extra weight. And to do it right a shock tower reinforcement kit since ford did put a extra brace on the shock towers down low on the big block cars.
