paint color for ram air plenum

I am adding a ram air system to my 1973 convertible. It is yellow with black NASA panel on the yellow hood. The new ram air plenum is black but I am wondering if it should remain black or be painted to match the hood color. Anybody know the MCA rules on paint schemes?

maybe one of the mods can move this to the classic section ...

i'm sure someone over there will be able to help you....
