Holley 4160 (0-3310) question I have a 1968 GT with no history or info from previous owner. I was having some trouble with excelleration after the 2nd tank of gas and found I had a bunch of debri in the tank. So I replaced the tank and fuel lines and pump.
Note: I am weak when it comes to carburators knowledge!
I am getting ready to rebuild the Carburator it is a Holley with 0-3310 stamped near the choke plate. I believe this is a 4160 with vacuum secondaries (since it has the diaghram on the side) and manual choke that isn't connected to anything. When I started checking the carb I was checking the float settings and I noticed that the gas in the secondary float area looked really old. And I noticed that all of the vacuum ports (3 or 4 of them) have rubber boots over them and are not connected to anything on the engine.
Does this mean that he secondarys will not function?
or
Should they function without any of these ports connected and there is an injector or nozzle plugged on the secondaries causing the gas to never flow?
