Ford never made one and all Shelby ever did was rivet a hood scoop on. 1967 is a different story..
I've seen guys who install a stock air cleaner housing modified with hoses that lead to the fender wells.

The ram air and shakers operate the same. They utilize a vacuum pot to open the door when the throttle is gassed.

Buddy of mine has an 03 Mach 1 and says his car jumps a little on the interstate when the valve in the shaker opens up.

I'm partial to a cold air intake. You can decide where to route the air tubes. Saw a 67 coupe with a modified stock air cleaner housing. He used ducting from Home Depot and routed it to the grill area for some air pressure. I bet he got a few pounds of free boost on the road.

A cowl induction hood is very efficient ! Accessing that high pressure area in front of the windshield is always beneficial. I saw a SCCA classic Camaro that ran ducting into the air vent located in front of the windshield. Very effective and you can keep your stock hood.

Ram air shaker both are the same idea its just to suck in cold air at wide open throttle. It only gives you like 5 hp if that its mostly for looks.
