Default Does painting your Mustang a different color hurt the value?

I have a 1966 ford mustang that is white and i was thanking about painting it a different color like blue would this really hert the value

It really depends on what you plan on doing with the car. If you plan a concourse restoration, then a different color other than factory will hurt the value. If it's a car you're building for yourself, then do what you like.

Concourse or a really rare car like a Shelby only time it will hurt.So paint it whatever color you like.

Have you already made other changes or is it 100% stock? And if it's your car, how much does it really matter? Paint can be redone at anytime by anyone.

Remember these are mass production cars there value is half of a same year gm or mopar.So paint it any color you want unless its something fugly it won't hurt it.

Paint it whatever color pleases you . If you decide to resell the new owner can repaint what ever color they like.

If there is nothing special about it like it's a 66 GT K-Code. Then paint it whatever color you want.
