Default Radiator fan cut the radiator...

Hi, I am the owner of a '68 Mustang. A month ago, my car it's been involved in an incident. In the several damages I have noticed that the cooling impeller (radiator fan) has cut the radiator. How this it's possible or succeeded this if apparently the radiator support seems not to be damaged?
Excuse for my not good english. Thanks for all for the reply.

hi, welcome to the forums. something had to move, like your radiator support flexed inward, your radiator is not in secure enough, your motor mounts are broke, your fan is damaged,or loose or your water pump( where the fan bolts on) is shot, or some other object went into the fan blade and caused it. i had a 67, same as the 68. if your fan is really close to the radiator and you hit something head on, its possable the engine mounts could have flexed enough with the weight going forward to touch it for a minute. thats about all the ideas i have.

Thumbs up

Hello and thanks for your answer.
I task that the supports motor have flexed for a moment during the crash incident and the fan that was found in motion have caused the damage on the radiator. To test of this, and visible a cut to average moon on the part centers them advanced of the radiator, equal to the circumference of the cooling fan.
