Default 1965 mustang worth it or not?

Hey guys i need opinions should i get this car it appears to have a wider rear end than a stock 65 and is converted to v8 and has the 5 lug setup with rims for my car. the guy also said he has new front seats that were put in it. It comes with a 302 and c4 transmission. He does not know if it will run but it does crank over. It seems like an AMAZING car for me to get. I mean its an extra motor but the main thing i am looking at it for is a 5 lug swap and well its extra parts such as interior and all that jazz. Guy said its a rustbucket but...If i can use the 5 lug setup and just put a wheel spacer on i would do that but the wheels on it seem to stick out just fine. Opinions and i need em quick b4 its gone...for 500 seems great to me.

For $500 the parts alone are probably worth it. The rear end may be a versailles unit if it has discs. Look at it and see, I bet its at least a 9" from some other vehicle. Keep in mind, if the engine doesn't run, or needs rebuilding, the value drops.

Default Buy it!

Buy it before the guy sobers up. The parts you don't want will easily return your investment. If you don't buy it, tell me where it is. I will!

Not surprised at all it sold that fast, like the guy above said, those parts alone are worth that or more. One heck of a deal! Just keep searching and be patient. Those things do pop and now and then.
