Default Getting Started

Hi everyone;
New to this forum and car restoration, but thinking about building a new toy from ground zero.
I'm looking for recommendations for books that would give me information concerning dimensions & crossover of different Mustang model and year parts. Specifically, looking for info for drive train, suspensions, axels, interiors, etc.
Wanting to build my own reproduction model 1968 Fastback/Shelby with newer bells & whistles and wondering if certain parts from newer Mustangs could be used vs buying all reproduction/restored parts. Also wanted to set it up to run on straight ethanol, if possible.
Thinking about starting with a reproduction 1968 Fastback shell. I found one at: Licensed Replacement Body Shell
Would like any other information/opinions on these or other reproduction bodies (if there are any) as well.
