Well I took my 68 coupe in to get her a fresh paint job. A friend of a friend who owns a body shop is doing it for me. I'm keeping her black but he is gonna use either a blue pearl or purple pearl base so you'll see a hint of color on the lines. She'll be in the shop for a month since it's a side job which means she'll miss her birthday. It's gonna be hard not getting to drive her for a month. I'll try to post some pics along the way as I'm sure I'll be up there a lot checking progress.

Nope it's MSU as in Mississippi State University.

Well she is all painted and I'll pick it up Saturday. I snapped some pictures in the booth yesterday after is was done baking. The black has purple flake in it which will show as black cherry under the street lights and in the sun on the speed lines.

That thing looks really very nice. Make sure you take some pictures outside once you get it buffed up and looking good. Nice work; can't wait to get mine done.
