Default 1973 Mustang Mach 1 data decoding.....please help

Hi guys, this is my first post so I'll try not to F it up too bad. I have a 73 mach1 I've been working on for a few years. The data plate in the driver's door was gone when I got the car and to order a new one, I need to know what was on it. I'm pretty sure the original color is pewter, interior is black deluxe mach1 w/ white accents, factory AC, and NO spoilers, stripes, console, or power windows. My vin is 3f05h114408 and there is a tag on the radiator support that looks like this

3F02F107818 63D 24H 258
5M AC AF WHITE
RM CHR

So, what I would like to know is....
Where, besides a Marti report, can I figure out how my car looked when it left the factory? What do I tell the people when ordering a new data plate? Since everything on my car looks original and doesn't match the data on that tag on the radiator support, was this tag from another car? What else can you guys tell me about my ride?

The Marti report and telling them to make you a tag (sticker for that year) would be your best bet. You can derive the warranty number (VIN), tranny, rear and colors but not the DSO.

That buck tag on your radiator support is from another car, that belongs to car 3F02F107818, that's the VIN. That car was a white Sportsroof.

Now here's the thing I'm wondering, which one doesn't belong to your car. The buck tag may have gotten there because the car was wrecked in the front and a clip or radiator support from another car was put on, buck tag and all. Or that buck tag could be your car's real VIN and the dash pad has been changed, which would give a different VIN as the tag is riveted to the pad. Being the age of the car it may have been repainted and had an interior swap long ago in it's past.

I would look at the front inner fender aprons and find what VIN is stamped into them.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

...............

Where exactly on the fender apron would I look? (under the hood driver's side, in the wheel well on the passenger side, ect) And how would I go about deriving my axle code and the trim codes and everything? Where at on the axle is the tag? I don't see one on the differential.

On the earlier years its on the driver side there is part of the fender that cuts back the other one on the passenger side you gotta remove the fender to see.And see which vin is on your title also.
