Default Springtime Yellow

Does anyone have experience with or know of anyone that has dealt with TCPGlobal-AutoBodyDepot on Ebay? I am particularly interested in anyones experience with if their colors are a good match. I have a 65 coupe that I am going to take back to this original color and want the color to be at least close to the correct shade.

In My opinion, paint is one item that should not be bought over the internet. You never know really what the paint is in regards to the contents of the mixture. Especially if You are going to use a 2 or 3 step paint. All the hardeners and reducers better match or You could wind up with a mess. I would go down to the local body shop supply co. and order what You need.

Hello. The PPG code for Springtime Yellow is 81510. Just tell them that you want Springtime Yellow and give them that code, and they can make it up for you. Hope that helps.

Thanks Veronica. I prefer using PPG anyway.

I went with the PPG even though it was 4x the price, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Also, I could see the color before I laid down the money.

Hi again. Good choice. Cheap paint is not something that generally yields very good results.

IF you get good quality paint....that Springtime yellow is beautiful....if you don't it can be huge disappointment. My old coupe back in the 90's turn out awesome. But the HAD to talk me into it, based on other qualities I was comparing it to...I was very pleased.

With paint especially, buy the best that you can afford. It takes just as long to prep and paint with the cheap stuff, and the results won't be as nice. This holds true for houses, too!
