Default Glove box tire pressure decal location? 1966 Mustang

Hi folks! On my 1966 C-code coupe the tire pressure decal that is for the glove box does not fit nice anywhere, so I put it in the back of the glove box itself. Then I saw a picture of a flasher switch in the glove box on another car and noticed their tire pressure decal was on the left of the glove box door, "when the box is open".
I can't fit one there flat, the area is not big enough for it to be flat, or basically they made these decals to big.
My question: Does it actually go there and because it don't fit well is just smushing it in that area considered correct? Any correct pictures?
Thanks in advance everyone, Tom.

If the decal on the other car was original(probably) then that's exactly where it should go. It might have to conform around a slight curve but that should be right. My old Fords always had them on the inside of the glove box door.

Hello. A lot of judges seem to think that this decal goes on the back of the glove box, but, I have seen more original decals than I can remember slapped onto the back of the glove box door, right across the passenger side cup holder. (That's right, those two little round thingies on the back of the glove box door were called cup holders. ;gringreen )

Those are cup holders only to be used while the car is parked. Remember they had drive-in movies back in those days!

My 66 coupe originally had, and still does have the decal centered on the back wall of the glove box - where no one can ever see it if you put anything in there like a pair of gloves. I can't say about the other 500,000 of them they made. My convertible didn't even have a glove box when I bought it.

Thought this could shed some additional light. My 2 cents anyway.
