Default 351 w operating tempature

I have a 351 windsor and it runs hot i have had the radiator cored from a 2row to a 3 row with a 160 thermastat and run 1 1/2 gal of anti freeze with the rest filled water. After it was put back together and drove it was still running hot. Dose anyone have any suggestions as where to look next? The old radiator was very restricted. The running temp is around 193-195

i think cars are supposed to run between 180-200 degrees. If it doesn't run above 200 you shouldn't hurt anything

What fan do you have on it? If it has a 5 balde fan a 7 blade should help keep it cooler. also a fan shroud if you don't already have one on.

Mostrun at least 180 thermostat. It is normal to run 180 and up but not too much warmer than about 210.

To run cooler try a flex fan, clutch fan, shroud, etc.
