Default 1967 Mustang: First Ride

well after almost 8 years of saving money and working long weekends and nights on it, i was finally able to legally take my stang for a long awaited and well deserved cruise around town. its still not 100%, but it was enough to take a ride. this pic is of it parked outside my friends house..he helped me get it running and all so i took it there first. it was such a great feeling to drive it on the road. even tho there isnt much of an interior in it, the carb is a little out of whack and well lets just say manual drums all around are fun, it was a great feeling. just though id share my short story with everone, im sure for those of you who have already done so...you first ride was just as good!

The first ride is definatly great. Its nice to finally get to drive what you have put all the time into. Glad you got to enjoy it. it may not be finished but it still looks really nice.

hahaha, yeah man, i remember when i got in my stang and turned it on. it blew out smoke from the back, it had a good rumble to it tho. but that 302 needed lots of work haha. its a real good feeling. had to take it when parents werent around else theyd tell me not to go, pops purchased it for me when i was 16 and i didnt have a liscence. but it was fun passing up ricers even tho it wasnt a fast pass haha, blowing thick smoke out the back. u fall inlove with the first drive man, at least i did.

Very cool. It is the pay off for all the work that was done and all the weekends you could have been doing something else!
