Thank you for your time. I have a 65 FB that I will be restomodding over the next few years. For the interior, I have a slew of ideas to update it starting with the doors. Can someone give me some names/titles of books and websites that will show me how to creat my own door panels? I need to add modern looking arm rests, power window controls, and power mirror controls among other things. I appreciate your help.

Take a look at MP Products and RodDoors Custom Car Interior Systems & Componets the 2nd one you have to cover tho.If you really want to make your own get a design on your head draw it out if you have to.The backer you can use plastic or thin wood that 2nd link has some premade arm rest which can save a lot of time.Basically you glue foam to the backer you cut it to any design you like or leave it flat.Figure out where you want your switches and handles to be mock them up once your happy you glue on whatever covering you like.I never read any books but try this one Amazon.com: Automotive Upholstery Handbook: Don Taylor: Books or Amazon.com: Custom Auto Interiors: Don Taylor: Books good luck with it.
