I'm sorry, my garage isn't always really neat! There's time's I can't even walk across my garage due to all the CRAP I've accumulated! Usually one day out of the week is reclean, re-organize, then I get much more work done! Sorry to get off the main topic.

What a beautiful Mustang! and you have the top down and there's snow! I'm in Houston, snow is rare! Keep you camera nearby and take photos! Think CSI~ they're always taking lots of photos!

I just got this back in February of this year. It was already in good shape but a bit boring all the way down to the cheap 15" hubcaps. I wasn't satisfied to leave it so plain, so I decided to dress it up with the looks of the Boss 302, 17x8 Chip Foose Nitrous Legend wheels, and custom dual flowmaster exhaust.
I can't get the pics up right now, but they are in my photo album. The car looked okay right off the bat but as the repairs started, it turned into a "okay, it's all gotta be redone" type of thing. Lots-o-rust! And the brake line was shot... that almost got me into an accident or 4.
Wow, looking at those pics I think I have bought the worst condition Mustangs on the planet
I have 2 now one is in storage for restoration next and one is getting close to being ready for paint after 2 years including new core support (NOS of course), new RH apron, new LH and RH floors, new rear body panel and reinf., new LH quarter panel, new LH trunk floor and lower RH quarter and trunk floor. The rockers, roof and frame rails were all good and the cowl and LH aprons, other than that it was a goner. The motor had a gallon of water in it and was missing one head and the intake. I have hundreds of pics but am at work. I will try to upload some from home later to show what I started with. One is a 64.5 conv and the coupe is the one i am currently working on on the rotisserie.
Here's how my '67 looked when I first got it, but in fairness it was bequeathed to me by my grandmother who bought it in '68 and only put 49K on it before I got it. So I didn't really go find a project car.
Just last week I pulled it out of a 3-year stint in storage to start "phase 1" of its restoration. Looks exactly the same, only with dust and spiderwebs. After some pre-start TLC it started right up, no smoke, no problems at idle. Hoses and belts are near death, tires are very dead, suspension rubber bits are also pretty far gone. But I'm probably $2K or so from full mechanical soundness, so the rest of the budget will go towards prettying it up!

I have more pictures somewhere but i gotta go find them first. This is how it was when we got it, everything is original. It was my great-aunt's car in California, she and my great-uncle bought it off the showroom floor when it was new. I got the car through the estate after she had passed away, and i plan on rebuilding the car and holding onto forever.
(oh and we're about 2 weeks away from dropping in a 400+ horsepower roller 302 motor also.)
Hello, I brought her home November 2005. A friend of mine came over to help me and after changing the battery and fluids she started with no problem. My friend was in the driver side and when I got in the passanger side, my feet almost went straight to the floor due to lots of rust. Right there and then I decided that she had to go under a complete restoration. Here we are 4 years later and she is looking good not ready but really good.
