She cost 850 plus 60 to get her trailered home. I have now spent over 11K and still have paint,drive train, interior, wheels/tires, stereo and AC. I'll throw in a few pics just to show off the progress. The car was a 100 footer with alot of rust covered by bondo. So, almost all the parts have been replaced with repop stuff and alot of trim options added.

Man, oh man. Picked this up in February of 09. We were expecting to do some minor rust repair and engine rebuild. Well, 9 months later the engine's rebuilt and sounding fantastic. It' been back in the car for about a month. New suspension front and rear. New brakes and lines. New gas tank. Both front fenders have been replaced. New door skin on both sides. New driver's side rocker. New rear quarters. New front and rear valences. New front and rear bumpers. Replaced the trunk lid. New inner fenders. New radiator core support. New fender apron and battery tray. New front and rear floor pans (both sides). Took the dash and doors down to bare metal to be repainted. New dash pad, carpet and upholstery are still in boxes but as soon as the paint's done (hopefully within a week or two) we'll get started on that followed by new wheels. Basically, the only thing on the car that hasn't been touched is the headliner...The headliner is in great shape. My God it's been a long road. But, God willing, it'll be finished before Christmas....Merry Christmas to me.

I got my 69 mach1 this summer but have not had much time to work on it much. The pictures are my before pictures and some day I hope to have some after pictures. I found this on craigs list a little over an hour from home. I have got it running, but not smooth enough to drive it yet. I need to do some work on the carb and then I need to find my leak in the brake line. The floor pans and the front frame rails will probably be my first major task because I want to get the frame secure and hopefully work on this thing sections at a time so I don't burn out with a pile of parts.

Not a Mustang but this is my 1980 Trans Am. I bought it for $2500 when I was 16. I pulled it out of a storage shed where it had set for 10 years and in only a couple months I had it restored with a highschool budget and did all the work myself. Not alot of people believed in me but I did it. I just turned 17 and sold the car. I guess I got tired of it but it sure was hard to let go. Considering starting the 'stangs since now I actually know what I am doing.
