Default Parts Ordering Experience

Ordered a set of Wheel Vintique's 15x7 and 15x10 Magnum 500 through Kentucky Mustang and when they arrived, the first thing I did was put them on to check if they fit and I'm glad I did. One of the 15x10's had the wrong bolt pattern. I immediately called Wheel Vintiques and spoke to Eric. What an awesome person to deal with! No questions asked, he took care of the problem. Mailed me a FedEx pickup slip and sent me the correct wheel. Not even two weeks later, my new replacement wheel arrive and it's a perfect match. Can't say enough about Tamara and Duane @ Kentucky Mustang and John and Eric @ Wheel Vintiques. My ordering experience has been a positive one. Awesome customer service ~ every email is answered in a timely manner ~ will work with you on shipping to anywhere in the world and just outstanding in my book! I also ordered a complete set of front and rear brake system from Chockostang and this is another perfect company to deal with. Much like Tamara @ KMustang, Dan and Carol will go out of there way to help you out! Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the company who did my Mach 1 interior kit. As off today, it's been nothing but a nightmare and I'll let yall know how this turns out.

Its always nice when companies have good customer service. I have ordered from a few not so good ones and it is a real pain just to get what you paid for in the first place.

At least you're just a drive away and can kick there ars I'm on a little island in the middle of the pacific and it's frustrating having to wait for an answer when they F*$# up your order. What's more frustrating is how nice they are, but then when the money is in their hands, the customer service is gone. I've got a 72 and 73 that I plan on restoring and I swear I will not buy from this company again. I think I've decided to get a refund and return these since it's clearly not my fault and the sales rep's lack of attention to detail.

Yeah i actually have 2 mustang places that i can drive to. one is only 1 hour away and the other is a little over 2 hours but they are both great and have good service. I can see how that would be frustrating on an island though. Hopefully you can get everything worked out and then be like me and refuse to buy anything from the company again even if it is a few dollars cheaper.

WOW! That must be nice, very cool! I can't even get a tie-rod without that being special ordered LOL! Most of the parts for this car has to be ordered from the Mainland and shipping fees are two to three times the amount on the Mainland. Then the wait for it to be delivered is twice as long if not longer. USPS Parcel Post takes is usually a month and sometimes two months for delivery. I think with all this said, you can feel my frustration with this interior company! Two days ago, I emailed and went straight to the top and still no reply. I'll give them another day and that's it. I'm done with trying to help this company out in hard economic times.

I also need to give props to Mike @ Car Parts Discount. Ordered a hood and it arrived safe and sound. Very well boxed! Another awesome person to deal with. I've got 2 more huge orders placed from two different companies and will see how these turn out.

Okay, done ranting and raving

Have a great day,
DJ

Wow, I will never again complain about having to drive 45 minutes to pick up parts. On the other hand, when I am here in the dead of winter, being on your island able to drive your car every day would be a plus. Good luck on your project.

I've always gotten great service from Virginia Classic Mustang. Their about 4 hours away, but if I call my order in by 3pm it shows up at my door the next day.

Thanks for sharing your positive comments. It gives me faith that there are still some great business owners out there that truly care about their customers.

Lived in the Mainland for a few years and I can say that there's good and bad sides to anywhere you live. Mine just happen to be shipping fees, classic Mustang parts, and the headach I get from going around in circles on this tiny rock. I can drive around the whole island in less than 3hrs I miss driving to the next State over or snowboarding in the winter. Surfing's great, but the ride lasts for only a few seconds, waiting for the next wave is like playing russian roulette, and too crowded at the good spots.
