Default 1966 Mustang. Decoding differential tag number
Hey

I am restoring a 1966 Mustang and I need help decoding differential tag number. I need to know if there is a Detoit locker, limited slip or if it is open. The number is WCZ-E 2 5ac911, the first letters are certain but the last number may be something else.

What are the different codes for Detoit locker, limited slip and open?

2 5 - I suggest this is a 2.80 ratio OPEN

If it is 5AC . That is a date of build meaning the 3rd week of January 1965

911 = Plant code
