Default Horrible day of a 1966 mustang

Wow, **** Happens. I Innocently was going to baseball practice and parked at the school. There was some extreme wind that day and when i returned back to my car to drive home, I just about cried. There was a big dent on my door from another persons door that got caught by the wind. You would think that a door would just cause a small dent to that steel thing, but no. This big @$$ thing was 6 inches in diameter and it took off a ton of paint with it too. looked like someone took a pick axe and smacked the middle of the door. How do you fix something like that? I am not going to pay someone to fix it for me. If i can find the guts to go back and look at it again i will take some pics. I know the color of their door and i know we traded paint so you know im going to be looking for red cars with a hint of blue on their door. Only a student would leave, I hope. Couldnt imagine an adult being so inconsiderate.

Haha i got a friend with a 600 hp procharged v10 f250 that we will rip that car in half. It will be like that gone in 60 seconds scene with the tow truck. Even if i did find the person who did it i could "prove" anything though. He or she would just simply deny it. Well, atleast it "makes" me get the new paintjob i have always wanted.

In terms of fixing it, depending on where on the door it is (body line or not), you could take off the interior door panel and pop it back out from the inside, smooth out the door, refinish and repaint.

If it's really bad, though, you may consider just re-skinning the door and doing it that way. Sorry to hear about that, that was a bad day for wind over here.
