Hey everyone,

I have a '66 coupe parts car that I bought as a parts car, so I have no title for it. If I sell this with a bill of sale, can the buyer send my bill of sale in and get a title for it through any of the titling companies/persons? I'm not a dealer or salvage yard, so I question if a bill of sale that I print out and sign will work okay.

Hello. The laws on that vary from state to state, but, here in Texas, you aren't selling a car, you're selling a collection of car parts, so, a bill of sale would be sufficient. You should probably check with the DMV, though. A phone call could save you a great big headache down the road.
