Default Getting Close to Completion

Well, body and paint are done. Just a final wet sanding and buffing of some areas. It really came out well, the below photos don't really do the job justice. The engine block will be coming back from the machine shop in about a week and then its just chrome, trim and the interior (putting in new carpeting, an original console and Rally Pac and a USA-66 radio). I'm getting excited now. Hopefully I'll have it home in about a month, just in time for the good weather!!!

It belongs to a close friend of my brother's in PA. The place is incredible! Multi bay, multi lift, paint room, etc. They do it all...Model T's to Muscle cars. Body, paint, mechanics and even some fabrication. Unfourunately for me, it's a three hour drive one way from where I live, so I can't spend the time there I'd really like to. But every time I go there, I learn something about my cars and restoring and maintaining classic/antique cars, in general.
