This is how I feel too. Putting a classic Mustang against a Civic is comparing apples to oranges to be honest, or racing apples to oranges

, they are two VERY different classes of cars.
Engines aside, the Civic would have much better handling, even if the Civic still had dead stock suspension and steering and your Mustang had some suspension mods.
As people said with the amount of boost he has he may have trouble gaining traction but you may have trouble too. The Mustang's rear is very light and without traction bars you may wind up with wheel hop.
I wouldn't put anything serious on the line. Alot of people may hate the ricers/tuners but you have to be realistic and realize and accept what some those guys can push out of them. Plus those cars to start with have 30+ years of suspension and steering improvements already built in.
