Default Help Finding Build Date on 64.5

Since I don't have a data plate on my car and I also don't have any original paperwork...it's been difficult finding out a production date on my car. I've got the VIN but that's about it.

Any idea on any other way to get a production date?

The VIN is 5F07D170935 so I know that this was teh 70,935 Mustang ordered by a dealer, but that does not accurately give a build date.

Hello. The scheduled production date of your car would have been about 15F, or, June 15th of 64. It's possible that it would have been 12F, but I don't think so. The 15th was a monday, so, the next day down would be 12th, but, I'm pretty sure that yours would have been the 15th. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your help. But may I ask how you know the build date?

Hi again. I have the data on a whole bunch of cars, and just fit yours in with other cars having sequential numbers close to yours. It's just an estimate, but, as far as what the door tag would have said, it's going to be a very good estimate. The actual production date of you car would have probably been a little later, because Ford was only building Mustangs at the Dearborn plant when your car was built, and they were running behind, but, that lag wasn't reflected in what the door tags said. The door tag was just the shceduled production date.

Thanks again for the help. I appreciate you taking the time to figure that out for me.

My car was missing the data plate on the door so I'm trying to piece together all the info. I really don't have anything from past owners so it's a little tough.
