BUY IT NOW I would love to find a convertible for $500 even if you need all the floors and rockers.

Every Mustang is worth restoring

$500 is cheap even if it needs all of the sheet metal. I bought a shell with good floors, rockers and quarters for $1,500 that has nothing else on the car. I would buy the one you are looking at sight unseen for $500. All of the sheet metal and rails are easily replaced and purchased with some basic body work knowledge and welding skill. It is a very simply designed car and an easy one to work on.

Awesome, glad to hear of your "new" Mustang, you definitely did the right thing. Post some pics as you are working on it.
