Default The Money Pit sold

"The Money Pit" finally sold. The '73 coupe that I found and restored finally found a new home. If there is anyone in the Rochester Indiana area, please be on the look out for her. Make sure they are taking care of her.

Anyway I was saddened as I watched the new owner drive her off. As the exhaust echoed loudly like it had so many times for me.

The chrome wheels glisteneing as I waved goodbye, the driver kicked in the Holley secondaries...he wasn't shy.

The tires barked, the motor roared...
I won't get to see her anymore.

But after an hour or two, my sadness turned to glee
as I drove home in yet another stang I bought... a '94 GT.

looks like I'll be going to the 5.0 section now!!

I still have my fastback, so I'll be on here too!

Wow, i would probably die if i saw someone drive off in my car. Congratulations on the new car though. Will it be a project car or just stay stock?

I'm just doing simple stuff right now. 75mm throttle body, CAI.

After I get my '65 Fastback done I think I see a Vortec supercharger and a nitrous kit in the future.

No. It was a vinyl top coupe that I made into a Q code clone sans the 351. It was green with silver '72 rally stripes. It actually come from Connecticut though. It was brought to Indiana in 2000 or 1999 I'm not sure. I had all the paperwork...HAD all the paperwork since it was brand new.

Congrats! Did the new owner say what thier plans were for it? That was a nice car, I remember seeing the listing on Ebay.

I wonder if I would have seen that car around here years ago. Another member on here living in PA bought a car from Shelton, CT which is a half hour south of me, but that car wasn't one that would have been driving around in the condition it was.

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

He will take care of her...which one reason I felt comfortable with the sell. The owner's brother has a '65 coupe that they take out on the weekends and stuff. He just wanted one of his own because he was tired of being a passenger!
