Default 1966 voltage regulator

replaced votage regulator and now has over charg were dose the yelloy wire coming out of top of conector go to i do not know what it was hooked to or if it was hooked up some picks would be helpfull

That short wire should have a noise suppressor plugged into it.It's for the radio noise suppression.
