If you are running a 1200 or 1500? My buddy had a shop before he retired and he installed Novi 1500 kit, and it required a 650-cfm.

I could be wrong but I seem to recall they suggest a 600 or 650 with mechanical secondaries.

"Mechanical secondaries" is a term relative to 4 barrel carburetors. The back barrels, or secondaries can be opened either by vacuum or mechanically. A carburetor with mechanical secondaries is also commonly referred to as a "double pumper" as the secondaries are opened at a certain point based on the throttle linkage.
